This will be the first edition of both of these courses.
The structure is designed, but not rigid — it works as a guideline that can adapt to the rhythm, interests, and needs of each group.
This courses combine formal dressmaking techniques, with the creative reconstruction of existing clothes - resulting in methods I’ve developed over 15 years of making clothes and 7 years of teaching.
Which course should I join?
1. The Beginner Course is recommended if you have 0 experience. However, if you've sewn a couple of projects before, but don't feel confident yet, you should join it to build stronger foundations. On the classes you already know the technique, you can apply it to something you haven't done before.
2. The Redesigner Course is for those who already feel comfortable using a sewing machine, and have an understanding of basic garment construction and alteration. This is needed to be able to experiment with upcycling and patterns.
